Born on August 17, 1964 in the village of Debaltsevo, Donetsk Region, Ukraine. Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Aviation Instrumentation.

1987–1988: Electric equipment repairman at the Zvyozdochka machine-building plant, Severodvinsk.

1988–1991: Process control engineer, sector head at the Onega design and production engineering bureau, Severodvinsk.

1991–1994: Department head – Chief Product Engineer at the Onega design and production engineering bureau, Severodvinsk.

1994–1997: Head of the Automated Design and Control Systems Department at the Zvyozdochka machine-building plant, Severodvinsk.

1997–2003: Deputy Director, Department Head at the Zvyozdochka machine-building plant, Severodvinsk.

2003–2004: Deputy General Director and Head of the Department for Economics, Development, Pricing and Finance at the Zvyozdochka machine-building plant, Severodvinsk.
