Oil prices at $50 per barrel will provide for the development of Arctic oil and gas projects, TASS quoted Natural Resources and Environment Minister Sergei Donskoi as saying.

"$50 is not that high, but this is an opportunity to plan these [Arctic] projects for the future and set timelines to develop various areas," he said.
