Russian cartography service seeks tender for Arctic atlas
The Federal Service for State Registration, Cadaster and Cartography (Rosreestr) has invited tenders for a project to make a national atlas of the Arctic. The bid is posted on the state procurement site, RIA Novosti reports. The starting, or maximum, price is 10 million rubles.
The tender is a single-contractor bid with a deadline of December 1.
President Vladimir Putin gave instructions to develop a national atlas of the Arctic area following a meeting on efficient and safe Arctic exploration, which was held in June 2014.
