A natural gas liquefaction plant will be built in Arkhangelsk, the Arctic-Info news agency report. The issue was discussed during a working meeting between Vice Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Alexei Alsufyev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Alexei Rastoropov, and Uralmash Izhora Group representatives.

Minister of Industry and Construction of the Arkhangelsk Region Andrei Shestakov underscored the project's significance for the socio-economic region's development.

"The regional government is ready to give our partners comprehensive assistance in implementing it," he told reporters.

The project will be designed by Uralmash Izhora Group specialists.
