The second Army 2016 international military-technical forum, scheduled to be held on September 6-11 at the Patriot convention and exhibition center in Kubinka (near Moscow), will feature a specialized Arctic exhibition for the first time, the Russian Defense Ministry's press service and information directorate told journalists, TASS reports.

"The Arctic exhibition will include innovation research and development projects, serial production goods and technologies for living and working in the Extreme North regions," Defense Ministry sources said.

The exhibition will provide an insight into navigation and communications systems, vital infrastructure components, uniforms, food and transportation support, design and construction of military installations, hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring technologies and emergency rescue equipment.
