Russia and Norway continue to cooperate successfully in many areas, including the development of the Arctic region, Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg told Russian journalists in Tromsø, now hosting the Arctic Frontiers international conference.

She said there was no business as in the past today because Russia and Norway were enforcing mutual sanctions due to the international situation. Nevertheless, both countries continue to work together successfully at the regional level and in areas of importance for the Arctic region. They are still conducting rescue exercises, she told TASS news agency.
