Territory of the Arctic exhibition to be held in Murmansk during business week

The Territory of the Arctic exhibition will be held in Murmansk during the Fourth Murmansk International Business Week on Nov. 17-19, the region's economic development ministry reported.

The project is aimed at presenting the Murmansk Region and Russia's other Arctic regions as territories of strategic development. Exhibition guests will have the opportunity to see comprehensive expositions of the region's municipal entities, stands dedicated to the Arctic regions of Russia and neighboring foreign countries, and expositions of large industrial enterprises and associations active in the Arctic and implementing investment projects in the region.

At a news conference with the representatives of the Murmansk Region's municipal entities, Yelena Tikhonova, the region's economic development minister, said that the project is also designed to create a favorable and investment-attractive image of the Arctic regions among entrepreneurs and investors.

The exhibition will be held with the support of the regional government. The project is coordinated by the region's Economic Development Ministry.
