The State Commission on Arctic Development will meet during the international forum, Technoprom-2016, in Novosibirsk on June 9, Mikhail Remizov told RIA Novosti. Remizov is a state commission member and chairman of the Expert Council of the Military-Industrial Commission.

"The Tehnoprom forum will include a plenary meeting on the Arctic, which we are preparing, and the state commission meeting," Remizov said. "The commission meets every six months, the previous meeting took place in St. Petersburg in December. The focus of the meeting will coincide with Tehnoprom discussions, emphasizing the technology base for oil and gas engineering, renewable energy sources and materials science."

The Fourth International Forum of Technological Development, Tehnoprom-2016: The New Reality. Synergy of Technologies and Spaces, will be held in Novosibirsk, on June 9-10 2016.
