The 22^nd Open Governor's Cup Competitions of Reindeer Herders will be held in Nadym on March 4 and 5, announced the official website of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area government.

The traditional tournament will gather tundra residents from the area, who will compete in ethnic martial arts, jumps over the sledges, tynzyan (lasso) throwing at the khorei (wooden pole), triple folk jump, stick tug-of-war and reindeer sledge racing. The winners will be awarded the Yamal Governor's Cup.
