The Dolginskoye oilfield, being developed by Gazprom Neft, will become the second functioning hydrocarbon deposit on the Russian Arctic shelf, Deputy Minister of Energy Kirill Molodtsov said at a conference on the Arctic and shelf projects, RIA Novosti reported.

"We are expecting the Dolginskoye oilfield to become our next operational deposit on the Arctic shelf," Molodtsov noted. The Prirazlomnoye oilfield in the Pechora Sea is so far the only functioning local shelf deposit.
