Although low oil prices impact projects on the Arctic shelf, Russian companies will continue their operations, said Russia's Minister of Energy Alexander Novak, RIA Novosti reports.

"Drilling, geological prospecting operations, and seismic 2D and 3D mapping projects continue, although not as quickly as had been planned… Nevertheless, we're not standing still," Novak noted.
