Gazprom Neft commissions two production wells at Prirazlomnoye
Gazprom Neft Shelf, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, has launched production from two new wells at the Prirazlomnoye field, bringing the total number of wells to 10, RIA Novosti reported, citing the company's information. In the first days of the new unit's operation, the oil well produced 1,760 metric tons per day.
The Prirazlomnaya oil rig is now using six production wells, three injection wells and one absorption well. Overall, the Prirazlomnoye development project on the Pechora Sea shelf envisages the use of 32 wells, the agency reports.
"It is important that this particular unit has shown the highest oil production rate in the history of Prirazlomnaya. We will continue to improve the efficiency of development, strictly abiding by the industrial and environmental safety requirements," General Director of Gazprom Neft Shelf Gennady Lyubin said.
