Nenets Arctic Tourism Center offers five new winter tours

New winter tours for those who love northern nature and active leisure have been developed by the Arctic Tourism Center of the Nenets Autonomous Area, the official website of the area's administration reports. The approximate length of the tours is from 4 to 8 hours, so they will suit those who do not have much time for winter activities.

The tourism center offers a snow safari both for experienced travelers and beginners, as well as lake fishing and visits to a reindeer camp, sacred places of the Nenets people and the town of Pustozyorsk, the first Russian city above the Arctic Circle.

The center also offers permanent guided tours, among which are the Villages of Nizhnepechorye, To the Pechora Alps and the Family Fishing Tour.

Over 4,700 people, including 500 guests from other Russian regions and foreign countries, took part in tours and tourism programs in 2016 in the Nenets Autonomous Area.
