The Yamal LNG Project involves the resource base of Yuzhno-Tambeyskoye (South Tambey) field located on the Yamal Peninsula. The project provides for the construction of a LNG plant with a capacity of 16.5 million tons, a sea port as well as a Sabetta Airport. Yamal LNG shareholders include Novatek (50.1%), Total (20%), CNPC (20%) and the Silk Road Fund (9.9%).
