The National Research Nuclear University MEPhI and organizers of the polar expedition Kartesh have announced a research contest, MEPhI-Arctic, the MEPhI website reads.

Participants must suggest an idea for a polar expedition that will take place in 2017.  Winners will get an opportunity to conduct research in real Arctic zone conditions aboard the Kartesh research vessel.

Applications will be accepted online until January 29, 2017 here. Application presentations are scheduled for February 1, after which the projects will be reviewed by the expert commission.
