Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants of the Arctic Days in Moscow federal forum.

"It is gratifying that your forum is becoming a good and heart-warming tradition and a great public event. Its organizers have set themselves an ambitious goal — to bring together all purposeful and socially proactive people with a responsible civic position, those striving to contribute to the development of the Arctic, a strategically important region for Russia. […] I am confident that the recommendations made and agreements reached at the forum will contribute to strengthening the unique natural, historical and tourist potential of the Arctic, establishing fruitful inter-regional and international ties in this area," the President's message reads.
