The United Aircraft Corporation will construct an Ilyushin Il-114 plane with ski-equipped landing gear for the Arctic by 2019, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said in a broadcast on the Russia-24 TV channel.

"The United Aircraft Corporation has been tasked with constructing a plane by 2019 to replace the entire product line of the Antonov Design Bureau for working in the Arctic zone: the Ilyushin Il-114 plane, which will also be manufactured with ski landing gear," Mr. Rogozin said.
