Russia's Defense Ministry will get the first 30 KAMAZ trucks for the Arctic in 2018, RIA Novosti reports, citing Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yuriy Borisov.

"We will get 30 trucks in 2018," Borisov said in response to a question about the time and the scope of delivery.

As previously reported, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will soon get newly modified KAMAZ-5350 trucks which have been adapted specially for operation in an extremely cold climate. The contract was signed at the Army-2017 forum.
