The Arctic Circle Forum has come to a close in Singapore. Forum participants discussed sea navigation in ice conditions, the future of Arctic infrastructure, and also ocean research, Arctic-Info news agency reports.

The forum was chaired by Icelandic President Ólafur Ragnar Grimsson.

Having been granted observer status in the Arctic Council in 2013, Singapore authorities are taking an active interest in matters related to the Arctic.
