Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia seek to join Russian Arctic military exercises
Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia have expressed willingness to join Russian Airborne Troops exercises in the Arctic, said Russian Airborne Troops Commander, Col.-Gen. Vladimir Shamanov.
"In April, we traditionally address humanitarian issues in the North Pole. This year, we have been reviewing applications. So far, three countries have expressed interest in the events — Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia," Shamanov told a briefing.
