Specialists are verifying information on signs of pollution in the Laptev Sea in Yakutia and the discovery of dead fish, Chairman of the Regional State Committee for the Arctic Prokopy Nikolayev reported.

A few days ago, residents of Yakutia's Bulunsky District tipped off the State Committee for the Arctic on pollution in the Laptev Sea and dead fish on the seashore.

"Specialists have left to investigate the Laptev Sea pollution warning. We will report the results later," Nikolayev said.
