17.3 billion rubles to be invested in the Northern Sea Route project in 2020

In 2020 the Northern Sea Route federal project is could have an estimated sum of 17.3 billion rubles from the federal budget invested into it, according to documents submitted by the Government to the State Duma on Monday, together with the draft federal budget.

Therefore the volume of investments will increase by 9.4 percent on the indicators stipulated by the Law on the Federal Budget for 2019 and the 2020-2021 Planning Period. Such investments are expected to reach 29 billion rubles in 2021, which means a 6.1 percent decline on the current budget law's parameters, and 2022 budgetary allocations are to total 75.3 billion rubles.

The Russian Seaports project is to receive 34 billion rubles next year, and the 2021 —2022 breakdown totals 67.8 billion rubles and 35.6 billion rubles, respectively.

Next year, a project for developing national inland waterways will have 51 billion rubles invested into it, and the 2021-2022 breakdown is 40.8 billion rubles (a 4.4 percent increase on the current budget law's parameters) and 46.4 billion rubles, respectively.
