The Russian president has instructed the government and regional executive bodies to develop a project to involve students in the construction of infrastructure in the Arctic zone in the summer. A relevant report must be presented to the president before March 1, 2020, the instructions on the Kremlin website say.

According to the document, the government is to consider the participation of student brigades in the construction of infrastructure in the Russian Arctic zone in the summer, and provide the necessary conditions to involve them in the construction.

It was also recommended that the heads of Russian regions provide assistance to the Russian Student Brigades national public organization in holding the Snow Troops national patriotic campaign.
