In the Footsteps of Two Captains
From 2010 through 2013, a research expedition called In the Footsteps of Two Captains took place in the Arctic. The purpose was to find out what happened to the crew of the Svyataya Anna (St. Anna) expedition ship, led by polar explorer Georgy Brusilov, which disappeared in the Arctic back in 1914. Researchers managed to find evidence that shed light on the fate of the St. Anna crew.
