The Arctic: Best Photos of the Year exhibition opens

Ahead of Polar Explorer's Day, an exhibition, The Arctic: Best Photos of the Year, opened based on the results of the Global Arctic Awards 2015 contest, which involved professional photographers from northern and Arctic regions. The exhibition's motto is "World Photographers — For a Clean Arctic!"

The exhibition features some 120 large color images, showing the diversity of the northern nature and animal world, as well as the culture, everyday life and centuries-old traditions of indigenous peoples of the North.

The exhibition will run through June 5, 2016, and is open daily, except Monday, from 11 am to 7 pm at 8 Gogolevsky Boulevard, Moscow.
