The Arctic to get a human capital development agency
The Agency for the Development of Human Capital will be launched in the Arctic in 2020, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev said at a visiting session of the Presidium of the State Commission for Arctic Development in Murmansk.
"In 2020, we will launch the Agency for the Development of Human Capital to train personnel for new investment projects. Following the approval of a law on a system of preferences for the Arctic, a development corporation and an agency to encourage investment will start functioning there," he said.
It will be recalled that the Agency for the Development of Human Capital was established in September 2015 to find a comprehensive solution to the problem of investment projects and personnel shortages in the Far Eastern Federal District. The agency will also work to ensure population inflows to the region and encourage new arrivals to settle in.
