Online lectures on Artic by Murmansk Region scientists

Scientists from the Kola Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences have started giving a course of lectures via their YouTube channel from Apatity, the Murmansk Region. The experts will speak about the natural riches of the Kola Peninsula and natural phenomena in high latitudes.

"While in self-isolation, Kola Scientific Center researchers are continuing to work remotely holding conferences, seminars and lectures online. The scientists from the Kola Scientific Center, who understand how important it is to comply with the self-isolation regime, prepared a series of lectures on the origins of the Khibiny Mountains, pioneer scientists in the first expeditions, useful eco-habits, minerals of the Kola Peninsula and the origin of the polar lights," the message on the Kola Scientific Center's website says.

Lectures begin at 3 pm on April 17, 21, 24, 27 and 30.
