The Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment hopes the Government will sign a resolution within a month to give Russian oil-and-gas giants Gazprom and Rosneft an authorization to develop four sections of the country's Arctic shelf, First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Denis Khramov said, Rossiya Segodnya reports.    

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Sergei Donskoi said earlier that the ministry had formally applied to the Government for the companies to be granted licenses for the development of four shelf sections.
