Nenets tour operator Krasny Gorod (Red City), in cooperation with federal tourism companies, has planned a weekend tour called Crazy Weekend in the Arctic, the website of the Nenets Autonomous Area's administration said.

The tours will last for three days and two nights. The first tours will begin on January 3, 2016.

"Russian tourists have a wonderful opportunity to spend a weekend in the Nenets Area, to see the first sun after the polar night and to learn about the culture, life and traditions of the Nenets people," said Marina Smarovoz, Deputy Head of the Nenets Autonomous Area Department of Education, Culture and Sports and Head of the Regional Directorate for Culture and Tourism.

The Crazy Weekend in the Arctic tour is already on sale on the websites of Russian tour operators.
