The Mobile app YaNAO, for the iOS platform, which offers a travel guide to the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, has won an international contest for guides, tourist maps and SMART apps for Russia, MAP.GUIDE.SMART&GO TO RUSSIA 2016. According to a report published on the regional authorities' website, the app was named the winner in the category, Best Local Guide (destination/cluster/region/municipality).   

A prize in this category also went to a map and guide of Salekhard, proposed by Yamaltour.

This year's competition received a total 127 entries from 32 Russian regions, including Moscow, the Moscow Region, the Sverdlovsk Region, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Vologda Region, the Kaluga Region, the Tver Region, St Petersburg, the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area and others. Entries competed in 15 different categories.
