Three Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area tourist routes advanced to the finals in the Route of the Year Russian tourist route competition, an area press statement reads.

The regional competition in the Northwestern, Volga and Urals federal districts included three projects submitted by the Center for Tourism Development in the Purovsky District: In the Footsteps of Pioneers bicycle route was presented in the Best Bicycle Route category, The Radiance of the Arctic cross-country ski route — in the Best Sports Route, and the Day of the Reindeer — in the Best Event Route. The three routes received awards and will move on to the national competition to be held on November 18-19 in Voronezh.
