The Arctic Floating University scientific and educational project is an expedition of students and teachers of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University (NArFU) in Arctic seas on the Professor Molchanov vessel. The journey offers participants an opportunity not only to receive theoretical knowledge but also to put it into practice.

The floating university made its maiden voyage in 2012. Over 300 people have taken part in the project’s eight expeditions during the past five years.
