Three solar electric stations launched in Yakutia

RAO United Energy Systems of the East's (RAO UESE) press service has reported that the holding launched three new solar electric power stations in Yakutia in October.

Two stations began working in the Verkhoyansk district — one with a capacity of 40 kW in the village of Betenkes and the other with a capacity of 10 kW in the village of Stolby. A station with a capacity of 20 kW began operating in the village of Uluu in the Aldan district. The new solar power stations are synchronized with local diesel power stations and partially replace their generation. Overall, RAO UESE has 11 solar power stations in Yakutia. "The fuel-saving as a result of the solar power stations' operation is expected to amount to 408 tons, or 18.4 million rubles," the holding's website has reported.
