The first Mi-8AMTSh-VA Terminator helicopter, adapted to Arctic conditions, will be delivered to the Russian military on November 25, TASS reported, citing a source in the Russian delegation at Dubai Airshow 2015.

The special version of the Mi-8AMTSh will have a more powerful engine and ski landing gear. Space technology will be used to insulate the cabin.

The ministry earlier said the army may need up to 100 of these helicopters.
