Volunteers invited to Taymyr Sanctuary
The Taymyr reserve's united directorate is seeking volunteers for fieldwork in the protective area of the Putorana State Nature Reserve. The state reserve is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Volunteers are expected to help state inspectors upgrade tourist infrastructure, build facilities, clear paths, collect waste, and do many other things in August and September 2015, according to information posted on the reserve's website.
Volunteers must be at least 18, have no chronic illnesses, be in sound physical shape and have a good work ethic and stamina. Last but not least, they should have a desire to learn firsthand about this unique sanctuary.
