Rogozin: Russia continues working with foreign partners on Arctic development

Russia has maintained constructive dialogue with foreign partners on issues related to Arctic development, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said during an off-site meeting of the State Commission for Arctic Development, RIA Novosti reported.

"At a time of complicated international relations, the Arctic is one of the few topics we have always actively developed constructive dialogue on with our foreign partners, including the U.S., and we have even advanced it in most areas of cooperation," Rogozin said.

According to the deputy prime minister, Russia works with foreign partners on a wide range of issues from joint research to individual projects.

"Maintaining good cooperation in the Arctic has been possible, to a large degree, thanks to our constituent regions taking part in various international organizations," Rogozin stressed.
