Most of the folk tales and stories, these rare examples of the northern peoples' folklore, are being published for the first time," she said.

The Dolgan folklore was collected and written down in the 1980s-1990s in the villages of Khatanga, Katyryk, Kheta, Zhdanikha, Kresty, Novorybnoye, Syndassko and Popigai. The book includes over 150 stories in Dolgan and Russian.
