Murmansk will host the International Scientific Conference, "Problems of the Arctic Region," on May 16, 2017. Participants will discuss scientific, environmental, technological, economic and humanitarian aspects involved in the development of the Arctic region.

To attend the conference, submit an online application to the organizing committee before April 21, 2016.

The conference is sponsored by the Polar Geophysical Institute, the Murmansk Arctic State University, the Murmansk State Technological University and the Murmansk Marine Biological Institute of the Kamchatka Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
