Rosneft’s Nenets oil license to run through the 22nd century

The Federal Agency for Mineral Resources has extended Rosneft oil company's license for the geological exploration of subsoil and the production of hydrocarbons at three Val Gamburtsev deposits in the Nenets Autonomous Area, Arctic-info reported, citing the company press service.

The license for the Khasyreiskoye field will run through 2103; for the Cherpayuskoye field, until 2182; and for the Nyadeiyuskoye field, until 2085.

Khasyreiskoye's proven reserves are 10.2 million metric tons; Cherpayuskoye's, 3.9 million metric tons; and Nyadeiyuskoye's, 403,000 metric tons. Their total recoverable resources are estimated at 65 million metric tons.
