Rosneft is holding talks with China on China's possible participation in shelf projects in the Arctic, Deputy Minister of Energy Anatoly Yanovsky said.

"The subject is being discussed at the company level. As far as I know, Rosneft is negotiating it," Rossiya Segodnya reports citing Yanovsky.

Yanovsky has said that China is interested in the possibility of taking part in Russian shelf field development.
