The Regional Policy Department (RPD) of the Nenets Autonomous (NAA) has announced a contest for obtaining grants from the area's budget to fund the activities of family (clan) communities of the indigenous minorities of the North (IMN) in 2016. It will receive applications from communities from September 7 to 16. The maximum grant is 300,000 rubles.

Grants are given under the state program on preserving and developing indigenous minorities of the North in the NAA. The contest is held for legally established IMN organizations that are functioning on the NAA territory.

The main criteria for the contest participants is long-term experience, number of jobs, the project's correspondence to traditional types of activities, improvement of the material and technical base and economic viability.
