Arkhangelsk will host the 5^th The Arctic: Territory of Dialogue international forum April 9-10, 2019.

According to Russian Presidential Adviser Anton Kobyakov, the officials considered the climatic details of the northern latitudes and the schedules for important political, economic and religious events while choosing the event's dates.

"The Arctic: Territory of Dialogue international forum has asserted itself as a significant venue for open dialogue on the current Arctic agenda. Forum participants focus on ways of improving the Arctic population's quality of life, preserving the region's unique ecological potential, maintaining sustainable socioeconomic development and strengthening international cooperation for these purposes," Kobyakov noted.

The forum is to take place at Lomonosov Northern (Arctic) Federal University.
