Dudinka to host forum on public-private partnership for Northern indigenous peoples’ sustainable development

From March 31 through April 2, 2022, Dudinka will be the venue for an international forum on public-private partnership in the field of sustainable development for indigenous peoples.

The participants will discuss ways of facilitating constructive cooperation between the business community and indigenous ethnic groups, as well as possible state assistance.

The forum has the following goals:

-     consolidating participants in public-private partnership for the sustainable development of Northern indigenous peoples;

-     promoting and expanding generally accepted social responsibility standards of the business community;

-     creating sustainable mechanisms for interaction between businesses and indigenous ethnic groups, so as to achieve mutually beneficial goals.

The forum will be held both offline and online, and its events will be broadcast live in Russian and English. All non-profit organizations of small Northern ethnic groups in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area can take part. Their representatives should first register on the forum’s website.
