Speacialists finish design of new Russian nuclear super-icebreaker
The Krylov State Research Center has completed the design of a new Russian nuclear super-icebreaker.
The vessel, which has been called Lider, will ensure year-round transit service in the Arctic, the head of the center's Department for Fishing, Transport and Research Vessel Design, Vladimir Shlyachkov, said.
"The icebreaker's design is finished. We are now looking at developing a project plan," the Rossiya Segodnya news agency cites him as saying.
