Electronics manufacturing cluster for the Arctic opens in St. Petersburg
A research and production cluster in St. Petersburg will manufacture electronic and communication equipment for the Russian Arctic.
"The cluster will design and manufacture telecommunication and electronic equipment for Russia's Arctic zone. The company in charge will be the St. Petersburg Technopark. The cluster will not be a place with resident companies, and the participating companies will use their capacities and territories while working on joint projects," the press service of the St. Petersburg committee for the Arctic reported.
The agreement on the establishment of the cluster has been signed by 15 companies, including large electronics producers, research institutes and universities.
