The Krasnoyarsk Territory Agency for Labor and Employment is setting up an Arctic personnel reserve.

Regional authorities are expecting the expanded personnel reserve to provide human resources to enterprises implementing investment projects in Norilsk, the Turukhansk District, the Taimyr Dolgano-Nenets Municipal District and part of the Evenk Municipal District.

In the next seven years, the Arctic region will require 22,000 specialists who will work on implementing local investment projects, according to the agency. The territory is recruiting additional personnel under a strategy to manage the regional labor market. With the view of advanced staffing for enterprises the employment service is setting up a personnel reserve consisting of skilled specialists in line with employers’ needs.
