Murmansk teachers and doctors to get 1.5 million rubles under the Your Home in the Arctic program

Education and healthcare personnel in the Murmansk Region have been given access to the Your Home in the Arctic program and so can receive 1.5 million rubles to build a house or buy a wooden house kit.

Initially, the program was designed for participants in the special military operation and their family members, as well as for large families. The privilege has now been extended to education and healthcare personnel, combat/disabled veterans and the family members of deceased combat/disabled veterans.

Another new component of the program is the participants’ obligation to give a regional operator access to their completed houses or assembled prefab houses to confirm their compliance with the subsidy terms.

“The list of terms also includes the actions a participant should take in the event the contract being terminated, specifies the requirements for the storage of certificates after its completion, and stipulates the approved space planning decisions,” a statement on the regional government’s website reads.

One more sector, Land Transport and Transport via Pipelines, has been added to the list of economic sectors where personnel can claim these subsidies.
