Arctic featured in Rostourism media campaign

A new phase of Rostourism's media campaign "Time to relax in Russia" was launched in July 2016, its website reports. The following brands took part in the campaign this year: Russian Arctic, Siberia, Baikal, Silver Necklace, Rivers of Russia, Golden Ring, South of Russia, Eastern Ring, Great Silk Road, Russian Mansions, and Ural Ring.

The press release notes that for the first time the campaign is truly comprehensive, reaching both professional travel agencies and customers directly, as well as working through the media. "Branded" routes through multiple regions rather than individual regions are being promoted for the first time.

This is a multimedia campaign, involving about 300 outdoor ads, including over 80 LED screens, as well as over 400 digital ads in fitness centers and gas stations. The federal press, special radio broadcasts and online resources are also being used.

The project's geographical reach has been extended — over 30 Russian regions, or double the figure for 2015, are taking part this year.
