On April 23, Arctic.ru held its first webinar on Arctic research. This online event was devoted to the unique ice camp Barneo, which opens every year in April as a month-long research and tourist Arctic center. Kirill Kivva, a researcher at the Laboratory of Climatic Bases of Bioproductivity of the Russian Federal Research Institute for Fishery and Oceanography (VNIRO) and a member of the 2014 Barneo expedition, talks about the camp’s operation.
