Arctic-2016, a major youth forum, will be held in the Murmansk Region in early 2016. It will involve young scientists and graduate students whose research deals with the development of the Arctic, Marina Kovtun, the region's governor, told RIA Novosti.

"Forum is a very popular format for communication among young people. They allow participants to share their experience and compare achievements. Your efforts, energy and ideas for pursuing social goals may change a lot," Marina Kovtun said to young attendees at a meeting of the Council for the Implementation of State Youth Policy under the Governor of the Murmansk Region.
